Members of Bevill State Community College’s Student Nurses Association held a Breast Cancer Awareness Month Pinkout Thursday on the Jasper campus. Students enjoyed fellowship and snacks, while providing education on breast cancer. more
Dr. David Hogg of UAB addressed the Rotary Club of Jasper this week to talk about breast cancer and the methods used to confirm a diagnosis. During this breast cancer awareness month, Hogg first discussed risk factors with Rotarians. He stressed that while breast cancer is more common as women age, young women can also be diagnosed with breast cancer. more
