A residence on Indiana Avenue in Jasper was heavily damaged by fire on Wednesday. Jasper Fire Rescue, Jasper Police Department and Regional Paramedical Services responded to the structure fire around 11:15 a.m. Alan Clark, deputy fire chief and fire marshal for Jasper Fire Rescue, said the fire caused major damage to the home’s kitchen and attic. The home was reportedly being rented and only person was home at the time. No injuries were reported. more
