Nothing found after bank bomb scare

Law enforcement responded Thursday to a report of a bomb threat at Synovus in Dora, but officials later said nothing was found. Law enforcement also responded to other Synovus offices in the county out of precaution.

Becky Yarbrough Tucker, of Yarbrough's Educational Reptiles/The Snake Show, shows off a snake during a program Monday at Sumiton Middle School. On Wednesday, Tucker was injured when she was bitten by a snake, reportedly a rattlesnake, during a show at Oakman High School. According to the YER Facebook page, Tucker is recovering at UAB Hospital, responding well to the medication she is receiving  and is in stable condition.
