Earlier this week, I watched PBS’ excellent “American Experience” six-hour documentary on the event leading up to and including the Apollo 11 moon shot. I found myself enthralled in in the exploration of space all over again, and learning more about the efforts to land on the moon 50 years ago.  more
At age 12, I built my first TV Station. The camera was a cardboard box and a couple of Campbell soup cans were the lens. I went on to be a real radio news reporter, produced cable news programs and with others, even built Jasper’s first broadcast TV station, Channel 55. One might call me a news buff, and they would be right. I have six decades dabbling in News, with a parallel career in Law Enforcement. more
