Let's clean out the notebook ... 

• I was planning this week to say that I saw more masks being used in Walker County. I'm throwing that page of the notebook in the trash can.


Though, with great admiration and appreciation for all the godly mothers of the Bible, such as Leah, Rachel, Rebekah, Abigail, Naomi, Hannah, and Mary the mother of Jesus, in this discourse I’ve chosen Sarah, the wife of Abraham Gen.11:29 and also his half sister Gen. 20:12.

Football teams across Walker County returned to their practice fields and weight rooms back in June. Workouts were a little different, but players and coaches have worked to prepare for a season they didn’t know for sure would even take place until a couple days ago.

In all the things that Disney sometimes tends to get wrong, I am forever grateful that the Broadway musical “Hamilton” made its way to a streaming device so that the rest of the world - those of us not as fortunate to make it to New York and see the show on stage- could enjoy it. more
