ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Jasper Waterworks and Sewer Board, 1620 Alabama Avenue, Jasper, Alabama 35501, until 10:00 AM CST, July 12, 2012, for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, etc., necessary to complete the construction of the work as described in the Bid Documents. No bids will be received after the time set forth hereinabove, and the proposals will be publicly opened and read. The major items of work to be performed under this contract are outlined as follows: Removal and dewatering of alum sludge/process plant residuals from the LayeWilliams Filter Plant, Walker County, Alabama. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975. The Bid Proposal Form, Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Contract Agreement, General Conditions, Exhibits, and Specifications are open to public review at the office of the Board located at 1620 Alabama Avenue, Jasper, Alabama.
