PUBLIC NOTICE FILING OF PERMIT APPLICATION In accordance with the provision of Act No. 81-435 of the State of Alabama and the regulations promulgated under this act, Birmingham Coal & Coke Co., Inc., 912 Edenton Street, Birmingham, AL 35242 is filing an application to revise its Chapel Hill Mine P-3633, Surface Mine. The revision is as follows: Nature of Proposed Revision R-1: 1) Change post mining land use of Diane Redus property, located in the NW/NE of Section 19 Township 14 South, Range 6 West, to Range land or referred to as Undeveloped/No Current Use, 2) Change post mining land use of Virgil and Betty Green property, located in the SE/SE of Section 18 Township 14 South, Range 6 West, to Range land or referred to as Undeveloped/No Current Use, 3) Changing Land use for all basins to PWI Fish and Wildlife. From Jasper, travel east on Old Highway 78 approximately 3.8 miles to Forestdale Drive on the left side of Highway. Go to the end of Forestdale Drive and turn right onto an unnamed county road. Travel approximately 1/4 mile. Entrance to mine will be on the right side of the road. NW/SE, SW/SE & SE/SE of Section 18, NW/NE & NE/NE of Section 19 & the SW/SW of Section 17, Township 14 South, Range 6 West, all in Walker County, Alabama.
