Anna Louise Glover, 93, of Sumiton, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

Visitation will be today, May 15, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the Bell Sumiton Chapel. The Rev. Charles Underwood and the Rev. Doug Tate will officiate.

Burial will be in the McCormack Cemetery.

Glover was born March 12, 1921, to Willie and Leora Thomas. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and a long-time employee of Jimmy’s Store for Men in Sumiton.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward Glover; parents, Willie and Leora Thomas; sisters, June Crumpton, Hazel Giddens and Sally Dowdy; and brothers, W.C. Thomas, Bobby Thomas, Dedric Thomas, Kenneth Thomas and Douglas Thomas.

Survivors include her children, Gwendolyn Waid and her husband, Bobby, of Sumiton, Tommy Glover and his wife, Joan, of Corner, and Jerry Glover and his wife, Linda, of Sumiton; nine grandchildren, Cindy Gilbert, Karen Kaetz, Janet Campisi, Beth McLeroy, David Waid, J.J. Taylor, Randall Waid, Lorrie Whitlow and Jarrod Glover; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Her grandsons will be honorary pallbearers and her grandsons-in-law will be pallbearers.
