He was a member of First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, a member of Chapter G-2 American Motorcycle Association, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Motorcycle Campers.
Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Jasper prior to services. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at First United Methodist Church of Jasper. Burial will follow at Walker Memory Gardens. Alan Beasley will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Osborne Zimmer of Jasper; son, Paul Arthur Zimmer (Rebecca) of Dallas, Ga.; daughter, Marianne Zimmer Davis (Glenn) of Helena; grandchildren, Reese Davis, Taylor Anne Davis, John Arthur Zimmer, Kathryn Zimmer; and a host of friends in Jasper and Atlanta, Ga.
