Bennie "Euel" Keeton of Taylor, Mich., passed away on Feb. 20, 2013, at Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte.

He was born April 16, 1933 to Cornelius Benjamin "Bennie" and Maude Dodd Keeton in Carbon Hill. He retired from General Motors after 33 years.

Visitation will be today, Feb. 26, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Keeton Cemetery. Bro. J. Michael Key will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.

Mr. Keeton was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Ruby Gail Keeton; son, Paul Merle Keeton; granddaughter, Brandi Smith; great-grandson, Michael Daniel Cruz; brothers, Howard, Alvin, Loyd and Evin Keeton; and sisters, Ola Walker, Lora Keeton, Ozell Grimes and Pat Kanaday.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Keeton of Taylor, Mich.; children, Bonnie Keeton (Rob Adair) of Taylor, Mich., Art Keeton (Alice) of Portland, Tenn. and Billy Keeton (Pat) of Berea, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandsons; step daughter, Donna Griswold; step son,Darrell Griswold, both of Taylor, Mich.; brothers, Leonard Keeton (Tee) of Nauvoo, Arlon Keeton of Gardendale, Buel Owen Keeton (Marie) of Carbon Hill; sisters, Nell Sorsby of Oneonta, Lena Keeton of Double Springs, Doris Weaver (Gary) of Adamsville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Keeton, Mike Sloman, Lee Hall, Dennis Keeton, Michael Keeton, Wade Keeton and Sheldon Keeton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rob Adair and Christian Smith.
