The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, from noon until 2 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Robert Wolfe will offiiciate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Edgil was preceded in death by her father, Gurley Hodges; mother, Annie Melissa Ivey Hodges Cain; stepfather, Robert (Bob) Cain; son, Gurley Marlin Edgil; and step granddaughter, Beth Black.
She is survived by her husband, J.L. Edgil; daughter, Janice Windham (Larry); daughter-in-law, Wanda Edgil; brother, William T. "Bill" Hodges (Katie); grandchildren, John Windham, Logan Edgil and Emily Edgil; and great-grandchild, Tyler Windham.
