The family will receive friends today, Jan. 3, 2013, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 1 p.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church, with burial at Odom Memorial Cemetery. Father Vernon F. Huguley will officiate.
Mrs. McPherson was preceded in death by her parents, William Russell "Bill" Johnson and Martha Collier.
She is survived by her husband, William "Mark" McPherson of Jasper; children, Christopher Cates and his wife, Beth, of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Mark McPherson, Xan McPherson and Michelle McPherson, all of Jasper; sister, Pam Jean and her husband, Bobby of Cordova; brothers, Bill Johnson of Mobile, Weldon Collier of Georgia, Danny Collier of Mobile and Jay Trayal of Cordova; future grandchild, Landon Cates; and several nieces and nephews.
