Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 21, 2012, in the chapel at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton with burial in Shanghi Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Beck will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Carla Raney Levan; and uncle, Cecil Raney.
Survivors include her children, Heather Lewis-Nelson and her husband, Anthony, of Cordova and Donovan Lewis of Sipsey; grandchildren, Aubrie Howton, Ayson Nelson, Kirkan Nelson and Austin Callahan, all of Cordova; parents, George and Linda Raney of Dora; sisters, Joyce Pickett (Vince) of Calera and Georgeia Lynn Raney (Wetzel)of Calera; brother, George Raney, Jr. of Dora; nephews, Adam Lawson of Calera, Jared Joe-Hunter Raney of Calera, and Brock Wiley of Cordova; nieces, Brittany Levan Foster of Sumiton, Chante’ Gilliott Churchill (Adam) of Oakman and Tiffany Howard of Calera; two great nieces, three great-nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
