Charles E. Snow, 75, of Mulga, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Bryan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 23, 2012, at the funeral home.

Mr. Snow was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service and then was a UMWA coal miner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie R. Snow, whom he loved dearly.

Survivors include his daughters, Gwendolyn McCreary of Gulfport, Miss. and Carolyn E. Brooks of Hueytown; granddaughters, Jessica E. Brooks of Hueytown and Melanie Mardant of Gulfport; great-grandchildren, Dylan Aldridge and Dawson Mardant, both of Gulfport; brother, Johnny Snow of Vincent; sister, Peggy Gwin of Hueytown; and a host of other relatives and friends including his canine companions, Precious and Tiny.
