He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marjorie Johnson; daughter, Carol Sue Blell; son, Rickey Dale Johnson; brothers, Tommy Johnson, Harold Johnson, Doug Johnson, Charles Johnson, and Marvin Johnson; and sisters, Victoria Johnson, Annie Johnson, Lydia Johnson and Virginia Johnson.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lawrence of Jasper; son, Claude William Johnson Jr.; step-son, Larry Fout; sisters, Betty Ashley and Louise Norris; and brothers, Ed Johnson and Samuel Johnson.
