The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Saragossa Baptist Church. Virgil Cheshire will officiate.
Dees was preceded in death by his father, Henry Dees; mother, Bessie Rackered Dees; wife, Betty Sue Downy Dees; brother, Vester Dees; and sisters, Dorothy Oglesby and Violet Acqumire.
He is survived by his sisters, Berthie Hand and Faye Talent; brother, Levi Dees; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
