Clyde Osman Black Sr., 89, of Jasper, passed on the “Cowboy Heaven” on Jan. 3, 2013. Clyde was a veteran of WWII. After retirement from Hayes Aircraft, he enjoyed many years team roping with family and friends. His love of the cowboy way of life and the way he lived it has been an inspiration to many.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2013 at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery. John Warren will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Love O. and Cora Banks Black; brother, Norbert C. Black; sons, Forrest W. Black and Rusty K. Hall; grandchildren, Keith Allen Hulsey and Kayla Suzanne Black; and brother-in-law, Wayne Henslee.

He is survived by his sister, Agnes Henslee; sons, Ozzie Black (Paula), Randy Black (Lessia) and Chris Hall (Dee); daughters, Carolyn “Trigger” Hopkins (Eddie), Sandy Crenshaw (Ken), Kimberly Hall (Eric Pickard) and Helen Hambric (Greg); 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
