A memorial service will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 15, 2012, at New Beginnings Church of God on Cordova-Parrish Road. Brother Bobby Shedd will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Cody Strickland; his mother, Gladys Strickland; and brother, Kenneth Ray Strickland.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Strickland; his daughter, Cassie Strickland; his grandson, Brayden Jackson; his sister, Carolyn Oliver of Mississippi; his brothers, Larry Strickland of Mississippi and Marty Strickland of Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
