Mr. Donald Ray Day Sr., 78, of Sumiton, died on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Mt. Joy Cemetery in Cullman County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his children, Deloris Calloway, of Arley, Belinda Holtbrook and her husband, Harold Jr., of Sumiton, Ray Day and his wife, Dorothy of Boldo, Edna McArthur of Brookwood, Mary Fairchild of Sumiton, and Tracy Swann of Brookwood; sisters, Betty Lou Hill and husband, Bobby, of Oklahoma and Ann Hamby of Cullman; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
