Dora woman dies in wreck in Tuscaloosa

A Dora woman died in a five-vehicle crash that injured six others near Tuscaloosa.

Diane H. Horton, 62, was killed when the 2008 Toyota Camry she was driving collided with an 18-wheeler driven by Kevin Younger of Tennessee.

Horton’s vehicle then collided with two other vehicles. Younger was not injured. In all, two vehicles and three 18-wheelers were involved in the accident.

Linda Crabb, 49, of Birmingham was a passanger in Horton's vehicle and was injured.

The accident happened just before 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 59 a half-mile west of Tuscaloosa.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the crash.
