Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 14, 2012, at Bennett Cemetery in Jasper. David Miller will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Cobb; mother, Arizona Gaines Cobb; wife, Mary M. Hill Cobb; brothers, Pal Cobb and Kermit Cobb; sisters, Rozeler Cobb Taylor; wife, Eunice White Cobb; and great-grandchild, Summer Corbin Uptain.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie (Noel) Shubert; grandchildren, Connie (Rodney) Corbin and Daniel (Rachael) Shubert; great-grandchildren, Jacob (Erica) Corbin, Chase Corbin and Bethany Shubert; great-great-grandchildren, Destiny Thompson and Zxavier Drummond; sisters-in-law, Sara (Robert) Waldrop, Dot Hamilton, Imogene (James) Mote, Lorene Gaines Hill and Trixie Cobb; and a host of nieces and nephews.
