She was born on July 3, 1939, in Jasper, to Homer C. and Lorene Elmore. Eunice graduated from Ft. Lauderdale High School in the Class of 1957. She was a member of Addison First Baptist Church for many years and was known by most for the many years that she was a substitute teacher. She loved her church family and her friends so very much. Her heart belonged to her daughter, her son-in-law and her grandsons. She always had encouraging words to everyone and a smile on her face. She touched the lives of everyone with whom she came in contact.
Visitation will be held today, Feb. 19, 2013, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Addison First Baptist Church and from noon until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Brothers Lee Taylor and Kenny Sudduth will officiate. Burial will be in Curry Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Dee Dee Cooper and her husband, Tim; brother, Wayne Elmore and his wife, Sheila; sister, Doris Ward; she was Gran to two grandchildren, Cade Cooper and Chaz Cooper; and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lorene Elmore; brother, Horace Elmore; and sisters, June Harris and Louise Colvin.
