Faye Nell Hall, 79, of Townley, passed away Friday night, Nov. 16, 2012, at her home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will follow at Walker Memory Gardens.

Hall was a special lady. She was a very caring person. She loved to laugh. She loved her family most of all. She loved family gatherings and being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her Lord and her church family at the Carbon Hill Presbyterian Church. She was very active in the work of her church as her health permitted. She enjoyed cooking her “requested” dishes for her church family and also sending correspondence from her church. She loved to cook and garden and was very proud of her beautiful flowers and gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, James E. Hall; father, Virgil Lawrence; mother, Frankie Williams Lawrence; and brother Norman Lawrence.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Bill) Williams; her son, Larry (Cindy) Hall; grandchildren, Shane (Mandy) Williams, Jason Williams, Ryan Hall and Stacy (Mike) Courington; great-grandchildren, Connor Williams, Reagan Williams and Cole Courington; sisters, DeWanda Woods of Indiana, Bertha Lee Dozier of Carbon Hill and Melba Eads of Florida; and brothers, Eugene Lawrence of Townley and Joe Lawrence of Carbon Hill.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Mathews, Kenneth Wright, Joey Boteler, Gary Courington, David Lawrence Jr. and Mike Courington.
