The family will receive friends today, Feb. 5, 2013 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at New Prospect Cemetery. Johnny Sims will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Griffin.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Griffin Hood and Judy Robinson; son, Scottie Griffin; sister, Ruby Wilson; grandchildren, Daniel Downs, Donna Sims and Corey Wilson; step-grandchildren, Ashey Prescott and Brooke Prescott; and great-grandchildren, J.R. Sims and Blake Sims.
