Frances “Pat” Steadman, 80, of Hoover, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, in Lenoir City, Tenn.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Pat formerly owned and operated Steadman’s Upholstery and Steadman’s Trucking in Jasper. She loved spending time with her friends and singing karaoke.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Steadman; parents, Ira and Myrtle Sanders; brothers, Garland, A. C., R. D., Maron and Huey Sanders; and sisters, Zina Mae Turner and Mallie Wilson.

She is survived by her children, Dan Forsythe of Islamorada, Fla., Tom Forsythe and his wife, Kelly, of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Rhonda Hood of Hoover; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Turner and Rachel Corum; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will follow in the Walker Memory Gardens. Brent Forsythe will officate.
