Frances Baker Cameron, 83, of Jasper, traded her life here on earth for her heavenly home on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at her residence.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home with burial to follow at Patton Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Martin and Spurgeon Kimbrell will officiate. The family will receive friends today, July 8, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born May 27, 1931. Frances is better known as the “Lady Wrecker Driver” where she owned and operated Baker Wrecker Service with her husband Craig Baker since the 1960s. She never met a stranger and had a heart of gold that would help anyone in need. She never missed a chance to tell someone about God’s love and spread His word with the ones she towed. She would say “I’ve got them in my truck, and they can’t get out” until she told them how good her God was. She was the most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who truly knew the meaning of loving with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Craig Baker and Albert Cameron; parents, Albert P. & Cora E. Phillips; sisters, Alma Bozeman and Ruth Thacker; and brother, Clyde Phillips.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Taylor (Jeff); granddaughter, Kasey Brown (Greg); two precious great grandchildren that held her heart, Jayden and Anna-Grace Brown; brother, George Phillips (Bonnie); sister, Dora Gant; special friend of 50 years, Annie Laura Hyde; a host of family and friends and the special people at Southeast Hospice and Southern Care Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Taylor, Greg Brown, Jayden Brown, George Phillips, David Bozeman, George Taylor Jr., Randy Phillips and Larry Phillips.
