Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. There will be no funeral services. Burial was at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his father, George F. Turner; and mother, Robbie Holiday Turner.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennie Phillips (Rick) of Aiken, S.C.; wife, Theresa Embrey Turner of Huntsville; daughter, Sandie Turner Hesser (Wayne); son, Bruce Edward Turner; stepbrother, Paul Woods (Christina) stepdaughters, Virginia Woods and Darlene Woods; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
