Private funeral services with burial were held at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his father, George F. Turner; mother, Robbie Holiday Turner; and sister, Martha Turner Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Embrey Turner; two daughters, Jeannie Phillips (Rick) and Sandie Turner Hesser (Wayne); one son, Bruce Edward Turner; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
