The torrential rainshower associated with the thunderstorm that rolled over Walker County around noon Monday created some dangerous driving conditions for folks traveling along I-22 and Alabama Hwy. 118 near Jasper. Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high of 89.
