Hazel Walton Melton, 83, of Attalla, formerly of Oakman, passed away on Jan. 25, 2013, at Gadsden Haelth Care. She had several friends in the years she lived in Attalla and was a member of Attalla First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Hollis Alexander will officiate.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Walton Rogers (Sandra) of Attalla; grandchild, Gabrielle Starr Rogers of Attalla; and a host of relatives and friends.
