Henley Allen Gray, 73, of Jasper, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at UAB Hospital. He was a devoted choir member at First Baptist Church if Jasper, where he was active with Carpenters for Christ.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 29, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home parlor. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Oakhill Cemetery. Dennis Culbreth will officiate.

He was preceded in death by father, Sidney J. Gray; mother, Merley Handley Gray; daughter, Dona Kay Phillips; and brothers, J.W. Gray and Kenneth Gray.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Teague Gray of Jasper; daughters, Kelly (Mark) Benson, Holly (Mike) West, April (Chris) Henson and Erin Gray; sisters, Jimmie Sue (Don) Akins and Katherine (Charles) Watts; and grandchildren, Ian and Macon Phillips and Hannah Ruth Henson.
