A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Dec. 7, 2012, at Walker Memory Gardens. The Rev. Kip Cordell will officiate the service.
She enjoyed attending church, teaching Sunday school and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed being a volunteer at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vestel Hodges; husband, John Argent Jr.; son, John Argent III; brothers, J.T. Hodges and Fred Hodges; and granddaughter, Alicia Argent.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Monty) Stockman and Kathy (Rick) Tyree; grandsons, Jonathan Thompson, Lance Stockman, Jeremy Argent, Cody Argent, Greg (Tracy) Tyree and Michael Tyree; great-grandchildren, Cason Tyree and Megan Tyree; and special friends, Esther-Sis Horton, Kathleen Vintson and Mary Van Middlesworth.
