The Bankhead House and Heritage Center was built in the 1920s by former Speaker of the House William B. Bankhead.
It has recently been restored by the Walker Area Community Foundation.
Many of the rooms will be used in the future for art and history exhibits, including the Smithsonian Institution’s “Journey Stories” next summer.
The Tallulah Bankhead room will be debuted on the Tour next Sunday.
Keith and Sherrie Pike’s house displays the couple’s personal style.
Clocks, crosses and estate sale furniture that have been given a modern makeover are some of the home’s highlights.
The home of Bobby Michael and Ruth Roberts has undergone some major changes since it was featured on the Tour several years ago by different owners.
The kitchen and master bathroom have both been remodeled.
The house also features a parlor grand piano and a desk that once belonged in an old hotel in Tennessee.
The Pilot Club of Jasper’s annual Tour of Homes will be Sunday, Dec. 5 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
