He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson S. and Bertie Mae Hodgson; and sister, Mary Ann Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Mae Hodgson; daughters, Diann G. Hodgson and Brenda H. (Danny) Rickard; son, Jeff (Deborah) Hodgson; sisters, Martha Huett and Linda Pair; brothers, William (Becky) Hodgson, George (Sue) Hodgson and James (Elaine) Hodgson; grandchildren, Katie (David) Vance, Christy (Chris) Long, Neil Rickard and Laura Rickard; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Vance.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday Jan. 6, 2013 from 5 until 7 p.m. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. The Rev. Steve Potts will officiate.
