Jewell Lovell, 94, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Boykin. He served as a Veteran in World War II, for the U.S. Army. He spent his last days enjoying life to the fullest.

Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. today, Nov. 7, 2012, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edgil Grove Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Tistle.

He is survived by his wife, Gerri Bell of Eddyville, Ky.; children, Brenda Plyler (Hoyte) of Jasper, Donna Harki (Jim) of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Dave Lovell (Janet) of Pelham; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; amd several other relatives and friends.
