A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Southside Church of God in Carbon Hill with Bro. Mike Jenkins officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Walker; and father, Jack Vinston.
He is survived by his mother, Vera Walker Vinston; sisters, Sandra Brown and Glenda Dodd; brothers, Jimmy Walker, Gene Elrod, Larry Elrod, Billy Jackie Vinston, and Dennis Vinston; extended family from Mava’s Restaurant; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
