Juanita Tesseneer Dooley Mitchell, 87, of Birmingham, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. She was a corporate officer of Golden Enterprises, Inc. She was a member of the board of trustees for the Alabama Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Ranches. She was nominated for Birmingham’s Woman of the Year in 1973, mentioned in the Personalities of the South for 1974 and president of Birmingham’s BPW Club.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home in Adamsville.

She is survived by her sons, William R., G. Don and Terry W. Dooley; grandchildren, Jennifer Pattison, Michael Dooley, Alison Jenkins, Christopher Dooley, Brett Dooley, John Dooley and Meghan Dooley; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Brian Pattison, Kendall, Carson, Harrison and Blythe Dooley.
