She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Wayne Hicks; parents, Alvin and Lorene Riley; sisters, Ola Mae Freeman, Betty Forester and Lillian Nix; and brothers, Fred Riley and Alvin Riley.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Hicks (Vicky) of Cordova and David Lane of Alexander City; daughter-in-law, Doris Hicks of Georgia; brother, Ed Riley of Cordova; sister, Gyndal Creel of Texas; grandchildren, Melanie Bussey, Eric Hicks and Stephanie Lane; great-grandson, Bailey Lane; step-children, Franki Lane, Sue Seals, Charles Lane and Ann Freeman; and several nieces and nephews.
