Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today, Aug. 3, 2012, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Smith School House. Burial will follow at Smith School House in Arley.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Thomas “Red” Smith; and mother, Christine Smith.
She is survived by her son, Michael Brian Pounders (Jennifer) of Curry; daughters, Sonia Denise Roberson (Scotty) of Spruce Pine, Crystal Gale Maze of Phil Campbell and Jessica Lynn Smith of Arley; brothers, Thomas Lee Smith (Brenda) of Arley, Roger Dale Smith of Jasper and David Ronald Smith; sisters, Gwenda Robertson (Relton) of Arley and Wanda Gale Smith of Arley; and grandchildren, Cory Pounders (Chelsie), Grace Roberson, Shaylan Pounders, Chloe Roberson, Bailey Stojak, Cheyenne Roberson, Brittney Roberson and Jace Smith.
