L.B. Pendley, 80, of Carbon Hill, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today Aug. 18, 2010, at Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy with burial in Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens. John Billy Butler, Vernil Sides and Chris Lindsey will officiate. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin J. Pendley and Lella Roberts Pendley.

He is survived by his wife, Marie “Tiny” Pendley of Carbon Hill; daughters, Diane (Bruce) Bailey of Berry and Donna Markham of Brilliant; sons, Jimmy (Janice) Pendley of Carbon Hill, David (Tina) Pendley of Curry, Terry (Rachel) Pendley of Pell City and Randy (Wanda) Pendley of Kansas; special nephew, James (Jane) Lindsey of Oakman; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
