Larry Dan McGough, 62, of Nauvoo, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at his residence. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the Abundant Life Temple in Carbon Hill. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at the Abundant Life Temple. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in Carbon Hill. The Rev. Gary Salter will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper will direct.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy McGough; mother, Opal Lee Watts McGough; and brother, Dorman McGough.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Jordan McGough of Nauvoo; daughter, Kate (Chris) Lackey; grandchildren, Kate Lackey, Atalie Lackey and Kyson Lackey; sisters, Betty (George) Lacey of Lineville, Lucy (Richard) Crabb of LaMirada, Calif., Martha (Al) Blackwell of Crestview, Fla., Susan (Charles) Vogelsang of San Maria, Calif., and Judy (Don) Spaulding of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; and brothers, Fred (Loretta) McGough of Alexander City, Gary (Jeanann) McGough of La Habra, Calif., and Randy (Paula) McGough of Carbon Hill.

Pallbearers will be Perry Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Gary Langston, John Burton, Ronnie Davis, and Lenwood Murray.
