Local students set to attend 2014 Boys State, Girls State

Nineteen high school seniors-to-be from across Walker County will participate in this year’s Boys State and Girls State programs held this summer at the University of Alabama in Tuscalooosa.

Boys State begins today and lasts through Saturday.

Girls State will be held June 8-13.

Those attending Boys State this year, along with their sponsor, are:
