She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Chapter of the International Honor Society of Nurses, where she is currently serving as New Member Ambassador.
Lovell is the daughter of Don and Beverly (Jent) Lovell of Birmingham and the granddaughter of Shelby Jent of Jasper. She is also the great-grandaughter of Mendy Reed of Cordova.
She will be working in the Cardiac Step-Down Unit at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.
