Marie was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She loved gardening, cooking, garage sales and puzzles. Marie was a very devoted mother to her son Bruce and her stepson Josh. She was a selfless waman who always put others first.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, Arnald Drake; mother, Denise Drake: brother, Michel Drake; and nephew, Ivan Drake.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Bruce Matlock; and stepson, Joshua, all of Jasper; brothers Daniel Drake and wife, Helen, of Dot Lake, Alaska, Raymond Drake and wife, Christy, of Anchor Point, Alaska, Roger Drake and wife, Dawn, of Kasilof, Alaska, and Andre Drake and wife, Diana, of Anchor Point, Alaska; sisters, Lilliane Loosli and husband, John, of Andrews, Texas, Evelyn Kuretich and husband, Tim Sr., of Wasilla, Alaska; Diana Weis and husband, Matt, of Odessa, Texas, and Josette Smith of Harvey, La.; and many nieces and nephews.
No services wiII be held. Arrangements were by Collins-Burke Funeral Home.
