She is survived by her son, Larry Richardson; daughter, Leda Weathersby; other relatives and a host of friends.
She will be remembered for her many years of teaching at Walker High School. Services will be held at a later time in Seattle, Wash.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walker County Humane Society.
