Meek (5-4) totaled 444 yards in the game (267 passing, 177 rushing).
Quarterback Seth Hayes had a big night, completing 10 of 12 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown on the night as Meek closed out region play with a 4-3 mark — the Tigers most region wins since going 4-4 in 2008.
Jentson Hiller had four catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns while Brian Harrison caught two passes for 88 yards and a score.
On the ground, Alex Smeraglia led the way, picking up 102 yards on 10 carries. Cameron Hallmark added 62 yards on 21 carries.
Meek hosts Lynn next week to close the regular season.
Hubbertville 33, Lynn 18
At Hubbertville, Lynn’s seven-year playoff run came to an end on Friday night with a 33-18 loss at Hubbertville.
The Bears had made the postseason each year since 2005. An injury to star quarterback Brody Meeks left the team shorthanded this week heading into a must-win game at Hubbertville.
With the win, the Lions take the No. 4 playoff spot in Class 1A, Region 5.
Lynn (4-5) looks to snap a four-game skid next week at Meek.
