Michael McQuade Lay, 17, of Flat Rock, passed from time to eternity on the early morning of Sept. 13, 2012. He was born Dec. 30, 1994, in Jasper and had lived in Jackson and Oakman. He was a junior at North Sand Mtn. High School.

Visitation will be today, Sept. 15, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. and from noon until the service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Higdon Baptist Church, with burial in Higdon Cemetery. Michael’s father, his uncle and pastor Bro. Jeff Peek and special friend, Bro. Mark Otts, will be officiating with Corner Stone Funeral Chapel directing.

Survivors include his parents, Jamie and Tina Lay; sisters, Amanda Wilson (Jeremy) and Emily Lay; a special niece and two nephews, Hailey, Brysun and Bransun Wilson; grandparents, Faye Lay, Margarett Norman and Bremen Peek; and a great host of family and countless friends.

In-lieu of flowers contributions may be made for funeral expenses.
