Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. today, Oct. 1, 2012, in the parlor of the Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, in the Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery on Old Tuscaloosa Road in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren G. Hartley; mother, Bobbie J. Smith Hartley; brothers, Jesse Hartley, Lynn G. Hartley, and Rick Hartley; and sister, Nola Willingham.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Wright Hartley; daughters, Mary Herron, Connie Armstrong, and Lisa Tidwell; sons, Daniel Earley and Bruce Herron; sisters, Carolyn Bonds, Brenda Roberts, Betty Waire, and Doris Hartley; brothers, Robert Hartley and Marvin Hartley; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
