Visitation will be from 6 until 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home and from 1 until 2 p.m. at Flatwoods Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Old Flatwoods Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Old Flatwoods Cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 37 plus years, Brenda Sutton Robertson of Jasper; sons, Jeremy (Dana) Robertson of Jasper and Matthew Robertson in Military Service in El Paso, Texas; four grandchildren, Morgan, Victoria, Lance, and Hayvin; father, William “Bussie” Robertson of Jasper; sister, Janet Robertson of Tuscaloosa; and numerous aunts, uncles, and close cousins, and his church family at Oakman Church of God.
He had so many close friends, all who met and knew Milton were drawn to his loving and caring personality. From his life of caring for others through his years of the military services and the medical field as a nurse, he will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. When we said “There he goes” his Mom would have said “Oh look, here he comes”!
He was preceded by his loving mother, Willie Mae Robertson of Flatwoods; and grandparents, Lunie and Trevie Naramore of Fayette County and Mary Jane Hocutt of Moundville. You may register online at www.kilgoregreenfuneralhome.com.
