He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Freeman; daughter, Kathy Utley; and son, Don McLain.
Survivors include his children, Cordelia Robinson and her husband, Ralph, of McHenry, Ill., Tommy Freeman and his wife, Cindy, of Corner, Annie Freeman of Burnwell, Glinda Darty and her husband, Don, of Curry, Sadie Cooper of Olive Branch, Miss., Nadine Hendrix and her husband, Eugene, of McHenry, Ill. and Leon McLain of Burnwell; grandsons, Darby Robinson and Jason Freeman; granddaughter, Elizabeth Freeman; sisters, Ruth Ballard of Dycusburg, Kent. and Polly Dawl of Shelby; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
